Coalition Roadmap:
Building the Infrastructure for Collective Impact

The Veteran Coalition isn’t another org — it’s a national framework for collaboration, co-creation, and shared power. This roadmap shows how we’re moving from conversation to coordination to lasting change.

🟢 Phase 1: Founding & Convening 
(Now–Nov 2025)

Goals:

  • Convene national and regional VSOs

  • Host the inaugural Veteran Coalition Summit

  • Form the first cohort of Founding Members

  • Collect field-level insights to inform Charter and platform roadmap

Milestones:

  • ✅ Summit scheduled (Sept, Capital Factory – Austin)

  • ✅ Coalition microsite launched

  • 🔄 Outreach campaign to invite orgs and leaders

  • 🔜 Initial Charter drafted and ratified by Founding Members

🔵 Phase 2: Standards & Shared Power 
(Late 2025 – Mid 2026)

Goals:

  • Activate working groups in key domains (mental health, housing, employment, etc.)

  • Define shared outcomes, metrics, and protocols

  • Launch secure member portal for voting and collaboration

Milestones:

  • 🔜 Version 1.0 of Veteran Outcomes Framework

  • 🔜 Launch of voting & governance platform

  • 🔜 First regional hubs identified for replication

🟠 Phase 3: Integration with LastVet Platform 
(2026)

Goals:

  • Connect coalition input into LastVet technology development

  • Define data-sharing standards and safeguards

  • Pilot integration with orgs for better case coordination, visibility, and care tracking

Milestones:

  • 🔜 AI-powered onboarding and case tracking tools

  • 🔜 “Flourishing Metrics” dashboard co-developed with Coalition leaders

  • 🔜 Coalition members as early adopters of platform

🔴 Phase 4: Coordination at Scale 
(2026–2027)

Goals:

  • Formalize multi-regional node structure (chapters/hubs)

  • Launch funding partnerships tied to coalition outcomes

  • Establish national media and policy presence for Coalition-backed standards

Milestones:

  • 🔜 Regional convenings

  • 🔜 Public scorecard of Coalition impact

  • 🔜 Cross-sector capital attraction (philanthropy + VC)
